Best Electric Wine Opener

I have been through so many manual wine openers. Lots of times I will end up pushing the cork into the bottle of my wine because my manual wine opener broke the cork. I didn't even know there were electric wine openers until my husband's grandparents gave us one for a gift. It was awesome- until I tried to open a wax-sealed bottle and burned it out. So I had to research which was the best electric wine opener to get a new one. See below for the reviews and the results.

Electric wine opener # 1: Secura SWO-3N

This stainless-steel electrical bottle opener with its transparent cover makes the removing process visible and easy. It works wirelessly, thanks to the rechargeable battery; charge it once only and you can open up to 30 bottles by pressing a button.

The device with its foil cutter and LED lamp is made to be used easily and elegantly.

 Pros

+ Built-in rechargeable battery

+ Foil cutter

+ Fits all bottle sizes

+ For both synthetic and natural corks

Cons

- Only fits North American electrical standards, 120V 60Hz AC

- Blue light is on while charging

ELECTRIC WINE OPENER # 2: OSTER RECHARGEABLE

This cordless electric wine opener operates with the touch of a button for 30 bottles on a single charge. A recharging base, an ergonomic, soft handle with the stainless-steel body and a foil cutter change this electric wine opener to a convenient, mobile and stylish device.

A thermal, double-walled stainless-steel chiller comes with the electric opener to keep wine cold for hours.

PROS

+ Wine chiller

+ Foil cutter

+ Firm grip handle

+ for both synthetic and natural corks

CONS

- Blue light stays on as long as the opener is on the recharging base

ELECTRIC WINE OPENER # 3: iTronics 700

The iTronic electric wine opener operates on a rechargeable Lithium battery (1200mA, 3.6V) opens 180 bottles in seconds when charged.

The base of this wine opener can be used as a foil cutter to remove seals, as the power connects to the body of the opener.

It comes with an extended-time warranty, as you can have a 3-year warranty, in addition to its one-year warranty, when you register your wine opener after purchase.

Charger specifications include 100-240V AC input and 5V 0.5A DC output.

PROS

+ Long-lasting charge to open 180 bottles

+ Extended-time warranty

+ foil cutter

CONS

- It can be a bit hard to use for some first times

ELECTRIC WINE OPENER #4: OZERI OW02A-B NOUVEAUX

The elegant-designed Ozeri OWO2A-B Nouveaux opens up to 40 wine bottles on a single charge. While charging and in use, a blue light makes an elegant contrast with the colored vertical body that is designed to need no base.

With its transparent shell, this electric wine opener lets you see the cork removing process, while the lid removes to convert to a foil cutter.

The reverse button makes it possible to remove cork from the device. The input and output specifications are 120V AC 60Hz 50mA and 6V DC 80mA, respectively.

PROS

+ Opens regular and synthetic corks

+ Transparent shell for visible removal process

+ Foil cutter

Cons

- Rechargeable batteries are not replaceable, no serviceable parts inside

- It comes with no adaptor for 220/240V

ELECTRIC WINE OPENER #5: WINE ENTHUSIAST 2-IN-1

Wine Enthusiast 2-in-1 Electric Blue 1 opens up to 40 bottles on a single charge, while the battery indicator shows the low battery on the screen.

This 7-piece electric wine opener is a 2-in-1 electric bottle opener and wine preserver, having a charging base, two vacuum stoppers with day set ring, 6 blade foil cutter, aerating pourer and AC/DC wall charger.

The Blue LED light and transparent shell provides a visible extraction process.

Having this electric wine opener, you can preserve the leftover wine with the reusable stoppers; it is as easy as flipping the opener upside down and set the date using a date setting function included. It is possible to keep your unfinished bottle, at any size, up to one week, with a vacuum sealer pump that suctions out the air.

PROS

+ Easy to use

+ Foil cutter, Opener and Sealer

+ Date setting function to keep unfinished bottles

Cons

- The vacuum sealer often does not work

Electric Wine Opener #6: Cuisinart CWO-25

This stainless-steel electric wine opener works easily with two buttons to remove the cork and eject the removed cork.

Having a charging base and NiHM battery pack, it uncorks up to 50 bottles on a single quick charge.

PROS

+ Easy to use and clean

+ Foil cutter

+ Removes natural and synthetic corks

+Lightweight

Cons

- Irreplaceable battery

Conclusion

The one I had that I tried to open the wax bottle was the Oster so I can definitely recommend that one. However, after researching, I bought the Secura and am loving it. It is always charged and works quickly. I like the blue light- I think it looks elegant. It has not got stuck on any corks yet. So the winner of the best electric wine opener is the Secura.
